Hello, Gallaudet students. My name is Doris Zelaya. Counseling and
Psychological Services (CAPS) wants to share that we continue to provide
emergency/crisis services for students. If you feel you need services,
please contact us during our business hours, Monday- Thursdays 9am to
5pm. Fridays, 9am to 4pm. Our VP number: 202-250-2300 and Voice number:
202-651-6080. If you experience an emergency while we are closed or
after hours, please contact DPS. You do not need to share details with
DPS. Tell the dispatcher, you are in crisis and need to talk to CRE
on-call. Dispatcher will contact the CRE on-call. The CRE will contact
you through Zoom. If the CRE feels that CAPS should be contacted, they
will contact the CAPS counselor and the counselor will connect with you
