Gallaudet University Theatre Arts Presents Laurent Clerc: A Profile part 2 of 3. The play is based on the experiences of Laurent Clerc over two years, 1817-1819. During two years, he faces with the decision to accompany Thomas Hopkins Gallaudet, working on establishing American School For the Deaf in Hartford, Connecticut and his days as a teacher at American School for the Deaf as well as his desire to return to Paris, France where he is originally from.
