Gallaudet University and Clerc Center Employee Mandatory Vaccination Compliance Reminder

Dear Gallaudet University and Clerc Center community,

As announced on January 14, 2022, Gallaudet University requires all employees of the University and Clerc Center to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, which now includes the booster shot. The deadline for the booster shot was February 16, 2022, or 5 months after your last Pfizer/Moderna shot, or 2 months after your Johnson & Johnson shot, whichever is later. The decision was made to ensure the continued safety of our campus community.

Current vaccination exemptions granted for the 2021-2022 academic year will expire at midnight on Sunday, May 15, 2022, when the spring semester ends.  Employees that do not comply with the mandatory vaccination policy by showing proof of their COVID-19 vaccination to include the booster shot, nor an approved medical or religious exemption by Monday, May 16, 2022, will face termination.
