Mainly shows the 15th event of the World Games for the Deaf (WGD) with participation of deaf people from 30 countries. California’s Governor, George Deukmejian, does a speech for the opening ceremony of WGD. A brief interview with S. Robey Burns for Deaf Portrait, he diligently attended to the WGD games. The WGD had competitions of 7 different games, art festivals, plays, dance performances, and brief interviews with a few deaf people who competed in the WGD event.
